MP2 joins seven other musicians in the wonderfully romantic “Octet in B flat” by Max Bruch, the scintillating and much loved “Octet, Op. 20” by Felix Mendelssohn, and a movement of the Octet Op. 11 by Dmitri Shostakovich.
